Firecracker

Firecrackers are explosive charges smaller than bombs that are used as pranks. Constructed from iron and other arcane materials, they were an invention of the ancient Jesters Guild and their making was a closely guarded guild secret for years. The small blasts of firecrackers light up a location and can make celebrations more festive. Small and round with an exceptionally short fuse on one end, they look to be the work of some wonderous wizard. Once lit, they should be dropped quickly, else they will blow up in the user's hands. There is an artefact variant: shiny firecrackers have a unique explosion pattern, and there is a rare jumbo variant which gives up to five worldwide fireworks.

Firecrackers can also be fired into the air with a golden slingshot, making their blast visible throughout an area.
