Oh shiny little ink-ed thing, So silky-smooth upon my skin, Words cannot state the joy you bring: The places that you let me in! A single touch and minor wait Can supply treasures so divine The fortunes left so prone to fate That once were yours are now all mine! Ashtani footwear, herbs and gold Now fill my pockets, rift and hands. Mhaldorian goods I've long since sold To buy my fare to foreign lands, Hashani clothes! Babelite wares! Occultist books of long-lost lore! Keresis's journal! Twilight's hair! Light-opposing goods galore! I owe my current span of wealth To one tattoo (and idle minds) - And though my goods may cost my health, And wrack up quite impressive fines, And send the hordes of angry mobs That hunt more skilled than chaos hounds And feast upon my heart that throbs With my corpse pinned fast to the grounds - Despite the pain, I've grown quite skilled At gathering fortunes unfair, So (assuming that I'm not killed), If they are stocking, I'll be there, And it's all thanks to you, my friend, My prism tattoo so sublime, I'll love you 'til the day you fade, And re-ink 'til the end of time.
