A crescent moon looks down upon the scene,
Where forest animals begin to stir,
And birch trees raise their branches to their queen,
Like nubile maidens dancing in a blur;
Rare jasmine blossoms carpet nearby fields
And honeysuckles add to their perfumes;
Young, silver roses hide behind green shields
Of twisted vines that keep the fragile blooms;
The waxing moon gives promise of a change
To something more and greater than the past;
Eternal Maiden, Skuld, in that exchange
Inspires a true devotion that will last
As new moon turns to full moon in its time
In the Garden of the Maiden so sublime.
