Long ago, when men were brave
Enduring their trials to the grave
There is a story of the Black Wave
That struck great fear in men

Goblins, ogres, bugmen came
Their minds now empty, not the same
Changed to thoughts of death from being tame
And to killing all men

As forseen in dreams fulfilled
From underneath the earth, they spilled
So many thousands were maimed and killed
High death count on both sides

I digress to tell this tale
Of two who stood before this gale
And before the end were proven frail
Two soldiers of each side

Agithmaal was tsol'teth
Master Blue Dark loved all the death
And inward drew a deep, black breath
To bellow out commands

"Turn against your brethren all!
Slay those you love! Bring them to fall!
Hwarak alshamar osang rach haahl!"
Was the forced mind command

So most men who fought the wave
Turned to take their friends to the grave
There were so few that were left to save
The swayed ones from themselves

Samael stood against odds
So great, some thought him of the gods
He took and led seven well trained squads
To fight the wave themselves

Once Matic betray his Lord
Tearing away his vestments cord
And ran him through the back with his sword
And for now, he had died

All would have cheered but just then
"Fools! While my heart still beats, I win!"
He had returned against hopes of men
His voice rumbled, "NOW DIE!"

So many champions fell
To this great and noxious evil
But he died once again in a swell
Of soldiers overtaking

Adchachel ate his black heart
Consuming it as he depart
Samael mourned for his leader's start
In evil overtaking

In a rage of evil hate
From the black heart Adchachel ate
He slew Samael in his dark state
Along with his brothers

The last thought Samael had
Was that his leader was not bad
That his corruption more made him sad
As it did his brothers

A goblin soldier named Graul
Paid heed to the dark Master's call
And followed him to great Ashtan's wall
To get into the gate

The power there was a lure
Occultists kept them all secure
With essences questioned to be pure
They firmly held the gate

Graul just wanted to taste blood
A spill so heavy it'd make mud
And drown them all in a great red flood
And rid the earth for once

How sweet the axe in the bone
How sweet the crunch under large stone
How sweet their cries like lingering drone
And silence fell at once

Master Blood Drinker then screamed
Humans tore his cloak at the seam
A bellow unlike any have dreamed
And made him prone to death

Graul was swallowed up and died
When his dark Master fell to pride
The earth broke open when he cried
Both armies fell to death

Three tsol'teth fell with great cost
So many on each side were lost
The war won with evil double crossed
The nations stood as one

Shallam, Seleucar, Ashtan
Every kindred, race and age of man
Together against the Black Wave banned
So having won as one
