Kawhe is a highly caffeinated drink consisting of a percolation, infusion, or decoction of ground kola nuts. It is traditionally served hot with sugar or anise.
Kawhe originated in the village of el'Jazira, which is still its primary outlet by way of Habbib. Since then, other derivatives and kawhe-based delicacies have been developed by foreign powers, such as the dessert known as tiramisu.
Adventurers sometimes make erroneous references to "coffee." This word is based entirely in fiction, as "kawhe" is indeed the proper term.
