Watcher

The Watcher resides in the octagonal Camera Obscura of Clockwork Isle, hidden behind a large bolt of canvas and surrounded by mirrors and lenses. Five feet tall, it hunches, toad-like, on powerful hind legs, watching everything with a single, unblinking eye located on its massive face. The only sound it makes is a faint wheezing as it breathes through a pair of holes located where its head connects to its torso; however, it is capable of gesturing with its long, colourful, ink-smeared hands.
