Dense, voluminous layers of dark grey plumage interspersed with paler hued bands consisting of small, downy feathers form the stunning symmetrical markings that cover the body of this great owl. Long and sleek, her tail feathers are alternate black and grey, fanning out behind her in a perfect semi-circle. Round, unblinking eyes of flawless silver flicker as they tirelessly scan the area all around with calm watchfulness, the graceful movement of her head and neck revealing a patch of snow-white feathers adorning her supple throat. The Great Grey Owl almost glows with nearly god-like power. She weighs about 20 pounds. She is loyal to Maya. You see nothing in it.
