'''Hobgoblins''' are a [[goblinoid]] race similar to [[goblins]], but are much more powerful, and about as tall as [[human|humans]]. They are native to the [[Underrealm]], as are all goblinoid races, but they may be found in the lower level of [[Azdun]], as well.

As with all goblinoids, hobgoblins are possessed of a brutish idiocy, but they were not always so. Once, the goblinoids were a noble warrior culture, fighting for honour instead of bloodsport, but all that changed when the [[Tsol'teth]] made them into their present state by altering their [[spiral ribbons of future creation]]. The most famous hobgoblin is undoubtedly Blademaster [[Matic Ridley]], Tsol'teth defector and last of the intelligent Underrealm subraces.
