	A person's proficiency in the ~~skillset~~ can be noted by the belt that they have attained. To obtain a new belt, a person must first learn the required lessons for that skill level and then master a kata. Upon demonstration of the kata to one three belts higher than them, that person will be awarded a new belt. Below are listed the belts a tekura practioner may achieve as well as what kata must be demonstrated to obtain it.
