'''Count Xenius Kyra''' was a noble during the [[Wars of Succession]], and one who pledged his support to the aristocracy-centric cause of Duchess [[Castomira Brangwin]]. It was at his provincial manor that Xenius lured Princess [[Catarin deSangre]] into a trap disguised as a dinner arrangement - an arrangement to which, unbeknownst to the princess, Castomira and her underlings had also been invited. Chief among these underlings were [[Trenton Deis]], the assassin, and Lord [[Damen Kephry]], in reality a [[Catarine Dominion|Catarine]] double agent who was using his assumed backing of young [[Parni]]'s right to the throne as a back-alley avenue to Catarin's succession. It was also at Count Xenius' dinner party that Catarin slew Deis, before turning the might of the [[Staff of Nicator]] upon Castomira for the first time. Castomira escaped the encounter. As his mansion stood in ruins thereafter, it can be assumed that Xenius did not.
