'''Kavaya''' is an instructor of [[Blademaster|blademasters]] and a descendant of legendary warrior [[Lucaine Pyramides]]. Her homeland is the distant continent of [[Kashar]], where her people, the [[Hatha-yin]], are slaves. She was formerly a handmaiden of the [[Kashar|Kashari]] princess [[Megara]]. Following the Kashari raids upon Sapience and the neighboring islands, Kavaya was instrumental in securing the freedom of [[Haidar|Haidar, the Lion]]. He, in turn, was the catalyst for the reawakening of the lost [[TwoArts|Two Arts]] in Kavaya.
