Crucible of Stars

The Crucible of Stars is the city-relic of Hashan. It was created with the completion of a grand ritual known as Project Star Song, which, in its conclusion, led to the destruction of the city's former font, the Fontis. Three spiralling pillars of obsidian rise gracefully from the earth, their helical curves agleam with an otherworldly sheen as they reflect the ambient light while a vortex of polished stone forms an outline for the circular crucible within. Clouds of cosmic dust fluidly rotate and float at its centre, blending deep purple, magenta, cobalt, and scarlet in a languid dance of galactic hues that churn within a miasma of amorphous darkness. With their shimmering resplendence redolent of distant, hidden nebulae as they orbit the luminous heart of the structure, their scintillating rays illuminate the surrounds with dappled starlight and shadow.
