Down besides the still blue lake,

A small Mhun girl sang,

Of Caverns deep within the Earth,

Echoed by bang and clang.

Down besides the still blue lake,

With eyes closed to the Sun,

She tilted back her golden head

Her song had just begun.

A smile brightened up her face,

As she sung to recall,

Of Warriors and Knights so fierce,

Who protect the Chief from all.

"In the Halls of Moghedu

There sat a Chieftain true,

Surrounded by his Guardians

Oppose him, you would rue."

"In the Mines of Moghedu

Beats pick against stone,

Hard at work are those Mhun

For this Cavern they do own."

Her voice took on a somber note,

A tear rolled down her cheek

Her gazed seemed so far away

Yet more she had to speak.

"There came a man to seek the Mhunna

Quisalar was his name,

The Great One was to lead him North,

His lies they were to blame"

"He claimed to awaken his fallen God,

But death was in his heart,

His true desire was soon revealed,

His plans would fall apart."

At this her eyes are set ablaze,

For the truth of her song is here,

Raising her eyes to the Heavens,

We know the end is near.

"A sacrifice was made for us,

A new life for each one,

The birth of Reincarnation,

I wasn't always a Mhun!."

With this she stands and stretches,

Her song now at an end

Never forgot what the Divine have done,

Be forever grateful, my friend.
