After timeless years of labours, Ayar-Sarapis-Proteus, the Logos
desired rest
And so He slept then, a mere handful of days.
And in this slumbering, in His dreamings wandered
Who could describe His imaginings or map His dreams pathways?
And then, at the edge of the landscape of His mind
He beheld a wisp of possibilites, that remained
And did not pass down the river of dreams,
But stayed, endured and was retained.
Within his mighty dream dwelt this wisp, for it no time or solidity
Barely aware of existence, but filled with curiosity
Borne in the arms of eternal night, awareness came
The essence shivered, became filled with life and energy.
There in this void of dreams dwelt the essence, but not alone
Another being, a mighty essence, also was there
In this vast space of imaginings, there was the Great Dreamer
She taught and guided with love and with great care
No longer was the darkness sufficient, nor unconciousness enough
To content the wisp of possibilty or Her mind to hold
And She sought sensations and experience
And under the dreamers wing She became more bold.
Thus the Logos bacame aware of Her, and His gaze pierced Her essence
And in his slumbers he felt Her will and Her persistence
And, as a woman, She appeared to Him
And He was pleased at Her minds insistance.
And in that moment of his curiosity
She came full awake and then She chose
A thing that in Her slumbers She had never done.
And from this slumber, from this dream she arose.
Full-formed, new born, she stepped into consciousness
And became aware. As He so beheld her
The Logos was reminded of when He had loved, and loved with all His
heart
And though Eros had departed, long since, for many a year
Though Eros was gone, still love endured
And the essence of this God the Logos did recall
And instilled it into this dream-woman-goddess
And She became, our Divine Selene, aware of us all.
