Unwanted Beast

Dragon within my heart,
I feel you seek escape
pressing at bars that bend,
looking for the one that breaks.

Dragon within my soul,
turning everything red
filling me with burning flame,
wishing my lesser form dead.

Dragon stretching in my skin,
tearing, rending, almost free
waiting the screamed release,
the desperate cry of Ashaxei.

Back down fiery beast.
Deep within you go.
Beneath my siren skin
you will not show.

Dragon within my soul,
waiting to be free.
Clawing brute,
you do not define me.
