3rd of Sarapin, 381 years after the fall of the Seleucarian Empire
---------------------------------------------------------------------
After taking a trip through the lands of Ulangi, I stumbled upon the Island of Mysia. After exploring and returning to the main continent, a small child ran around me, asking to hear the tale... and so it begins...
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh sit down child, and gather round
Lend me your ears, your attention I'll bound
And hear this timless, ne'er ending tale
I'll speak slower, if you'll buy me some ale
In the mystical island, surrounded by sea
Mysia her name, with pretty sand and tree
Daring pirates, who holler and slash
And young, brave lads, ogling at pretty lass
A loud gawk'll warn you to
Watch and the flutter of wings you'll feel
A talking parrot obsessed with gold
Show him a disk, your shoulder he'll hold
A Priestess of Lord Neraoes pray
For His blessing each dawn of the day
Guarding His shrine with her life
Woe to anyone who wishes to bring strife
Tall, strong trees of palm and pine
Providing shadows to those who dine
Warm, white blankets of clean, bright sand
Seashells on the beach and animals on land
Small shacks stand around the place
Gathering together, face to face
And in each shack, people live to tell
Some with quests, that you can't fail
If you're surprised that the Captain's Kelley
Not a fat man with a huge belly
She's smart, pretty, and not too young
Not a big ape who appears too strong
She fell in love with tall Cassian
A wanted mage who came in a fashion
And to the surprise of one and all
In love is what they will fall
But you see, child, that love is cruel
Almost a disease, our bodies they rule
The couple is doomed for a wild ride
One wrong step, or one bad stride
One failed move'll stop their time
A funeral bell will forever chime
Every love has their jealous red-eyes
No law of love, no rule abides
A lad, Favian, thought Cassian female
Even after knowing, and to no avail
Found himself in love with him
Love's arrow hit him with angelic hymn
And Jarveck, Kelley's childhood chum
Was jealous, and set off with a grump
And after a long, long while, he
Arrived by boat, and Kelley he'll see
Oh, the thump in his cold dead heart
No longer moves, no longer'll beat
His heart has slowly, painfully break
A plan he made, not a moment too late
How the rumours spread through the island
Is this the start or maybe the end?
Oh, how love makes all mortals cold
And make them regret when they're old
Yes, you lad, will make a change
In our world, small, big, you'll arrange
The life of one rests in your hand
A choice that's hard, and never bland
But one should always be aware
For your choice, one's anger may flare
Should the Captain die, it's your fault
Your life will end, your journey'll halt
---------------------------------------------------------------------
And that small tale made the child bounce. That should satisfy him.
