Vinci's Masterpiece

Crowds are gathering quickly ‘round
Colorful beauty they have found
The Bridge of Delos once more sees
Another Vinci Masterpiece

A tired old traveler came along
His weary feet no longer strong
He needs a way to move with ease
He asks for Vinci's Masterpiece

Vinci! Vinci! Hear my call!
Legs and arms I bare them all!
Gather your inks and softly blow
Dancing colors gently flow
Exploding in a cataclysm
They form the image of a Prism

A lovelorn girl next to attend
Her love not on this continent
Seeking a way to cross the seas
She asks for Vinci's Masterpiece

Vinci! Vinci! Hear my call!
Legs and arms I bare them all!
Gather your inks and softly blow
Dancing colors gently flow
Fresh and light like springtime weather
They form the image of a Feather

A worried fighter then comes in
Full of wounds and scars his skin
Hoping he can heal in peace
He asks for Vinci's Masterpiece

Vinci! Vinci! Hear my call!
Legs and arms I bare them all!
Gather your inks and softly blow
Dancing colors gently flow
Touching skin they move no more
They form the image of a Boar

Crawling in a crippled man
No longer walk or run he can
His legs broken below the knees
He asks for Vinci's Masterpiece

Vinci! Vinci! Hear my call!
Legs and arms I bare them all!
Gather your inks and softly blow
Dancing colors gently flow
Coming down so lazily
They form the image of a Tree

A female cutler comes in abash
Across her arm a long deep gash
Praying to make the bleeding cease
She asks for Vinci's Masterpiece

Vinci! Vinci! Hear my call!
Legs and arms I bare them all!
Gather your inks and softly blow
Dancing colors gently flow
Smears and streaks the skin across
The form the image of a Moss

Evening falls, the works complete
Beauty we have seen indeed
The Bridge will last for centuries
As does a Vinci Masterpiece
