Hamond's thoughts on encountering a basillican priest for the first time.

However long Mithrea's Light shined upon us

I had never known It to glow like this

'pon golden locks pure, a mane bound

cascading upon robes

as binding as the tie that hid in her hair

within a temple lined with stone angels

naves empty but with silent prayer

a single breath, unwavering

among the garden's fountains grey

a priestess

stood, her eyes a blue

to make the Vashnarian skies turn green

with envy

but no such Sin was felt here

within the holy Basilica

built upon a Good

threatened by whispers in the darkness

not the most clever Darkwalker

tongue dipped with darkshade

laden with trickery, deceit

could pry the priestess

'way from the path of light

'pon which she strode

What pain do you carry, priestess?

scars mysterious as her presence

lay upon her fair skin

hiding beneath wispy locks

bound in coarse leather

hiding under stark robes

white and pure

Has your Faith manifested

in Stygian nights

a wild beast

you would not fight

with bitten lip and stifled cry

left Her marks on your body

only to return within you once more?

Has your Light

dragged you through days forgotten

in wilderness

ordering your body to run

through woods of thorn

that marked you as one that walks

with Good?

Bearing robes that drag on holy ground

the priestess is

bound as the sun-kissed scars

'pon her fair skin

her healing pain the only sign

that she is not an angel herself
