Skill ranks

Skill ranks, also called skill levels, indicate your degree of competence in a skill. The higher your skill rank, the more competent you are in that skill. Skill levels range from inept, knowing nothing about a skill, to transcendent, having learned all there is to know about a skill. The skill ranks are:

 1.  Inept
 2.  Novice
 3.  Apprentice
 4.  Capable
 5.  Adept
 6.  Skilled
 7.  Gifted
 8.  Expert
 9.  Virtuoso
10.  Fabled
11.  Mythical
12.  Transcendent
