The Church is led by a group of people known as Prelates. Their leader is known as the Archprelate, and in addition to the responsibilities of governing the Church, the Archprelate holds to power to excommunicate those Priests and Paladins who misuse their Devotion.
The Archprelate is selected by the simple majority of the Prelates.
