Velle

Velle, the Virtuoso, lives on Clockwork Isle. A combination of both the instrument and the musician, she was created primarily to entertain and bring music into an old man's lonely existence. She has a hollow, wooden body and two stubby legs. Five strings are stretched over the hole that takes up most of her head. She produces music with her arms, by plucking the strings with her long-nailed hand, or sliding her other arm, a bow, across the strings.
