The Great Southern Road, also known as simply the Southern Road, runs from the Old Road at the southern edge of the Dakhota Hills and along the base of the Vashnar Mountains towards the Mhojave Desert. Curving eastward, the road follows the mountains and passes through the Shamtota Hills and Pash Valley, ending in the fishing community of Jaru. It is via this road that most adventurers reach the city of Cyrene.
