Colourful and exotic was Polyhymnia, spirit of the Ulangi forest. One of the nine original forest spirits, she resided in a lush, secluded meadow within the mountainous Cloud Forest. When Gaia returned in 669, she discharged her from the guardianship of Ulangi, allowing her to deliquesce and become whole with Nature once more.
This forest spirit's control over the distant cloud forests is commemorated in the Polyhymnia card of the Achaean Deck of Legends.
