Sculpting is a skillset available to Elemental Lords of Earth.
Abilities in Sculpting
Ability | Description |
Coalesce | Upon the Elemental Plane of Earth. |
You may cross great distances, traversing the very planes themselves to materialise upon the Elemental Plane of Earth. Such an act takes great focus, requiring that you do nothing for several seconds while focussing on the process.
Shaping | The perfect form of Garash. |
When caught in the throes of battle, the chosen of Garash are able to sculpt their forms to achieve even greater perfection. Doing so shall both enhance your abilities and unlock new ones, though if you slow your assault you'll soon find that your form deteriorates back to its normal state of mere superiority.
Blocking | Bar an exit with your stone-forged form. |
Block an exit with your stone-forged form, making it impossible for anyone to walk in that direction.
Pulverise | You shall break them. |
Using nothing but the power of Garash and your stone fists, beat your foe to a bloody pulp.
Crunch | Shatter shields with your mighty fists. |
Shatter translucent shields that your enemies would raise against you.
Extrusion | From the threshold of defeat. |
While this ability is active, if your health falls to critical conditions the magma that makes up your superior form shall attempt to reinforce injured areas, significantly restoring your health. Note that once this happens the ability will be deactivated and it will be some time before you are able to reactivate it. Additionally, you must be at full health to activate this ability initially.
Yield | By your decree. |
Command the earth to yield its secrets(*).
| |
Reform | Injury is fleeting. |
You may draw up resources from the earth while you stand upon the ground, reforming your form if damaged and healing your health.
Quake | The land shall tremble at your command. |
To anger a servant of Garash is to anger the earth itself. At your bidding the earth shall violently quake, throwing all that stand within your location to the ground and having a chance to disrupt their balance. If you have shaped your form more than three times, you will lose one level of shaping but this ability will not consume balance.
Tremorsense | Know all that walk upon the earth. |
While you have this ability activated, you will know of any that enter your local area, providing they walk upon the ground when doing so.
Powderise | Smash their bones to bloody powder. |
Target the limbs of your enemies and smash them to bloody powder. The more you have shaped your body, the more damage this attack will do (both in terms of health damage and limb damage). Additionally, powderising limbs has different effects. Head: gives a stun, which is longer the more you have shaped your form. Torso: knocks the target off balance, longer based on how much you have shaped your form. Either arm: breaks said arm. Leg: knocks your target prone.
Rockslide. | Your will shall not be denied. |
By manifesting a rockslide, you can call one down to block many of the exits in your location with rubble, making it much harder for your foes to escape your wrath.
Demolition | Stone is no barrier to your kind. |
The fools that think to bar your path with stonewalls shall find themselves suitably chastised. By manifesting a demolition, you can destroy all stone walls in your location, though the more walls destroyed the longer the balance incurred.
Avalanch | Under rock and stone. |
Call down an avalanch to batter and break your foe. If they're not prone, they will be knocked sprawling and take damage. If they are prone, they will take increased damage, any limb that isn't crippled shall be crippled, and any limb that is already crippled shall take very significant limb damage. In addition, an avalanch striking shall immediately escalate head damage from a damaged state to a mangled state. However, note that an avalanch shall not increase your shaping progress, so must be used with caution.
Strata | You will not be broken. |
By forming protective strata over your person, you will take significantly less damage from cutting and blunt attacks.
Eruption | Drive out impurities. |
Send your magma outward in a cleansing eruption, purging you of impurities(*).
| |
Fissure | Down into the darkness. |
When an opponent is suitably unable to move(*), you may form a fissure beneath them, dropping them down into the ground(**).
| |
Bury | So that none may find their corpse. |
By sending violent tremors throughout the earth, you may damage all that are foolish enough to burrow through the ground in your presence.
Paste | You are nothing if not decisive.. |
When either flying or in the trees, you may launch yourself down at one who walks upon the ground, crushing them beneath your weight. This incurs a stun and non trivial damage, and will additionally break limbs if your target is already prone.
Entomb | A feast for the earth. |
Those that think to flee your fury through the earth are fools indeed. With this ability, you may instantly slay all those that burrow below you, providing they be at half health or less.
Juggernaut | The unstoppable force. |
By channeling the fury of Garash, you may gather yourself and charge into a room against a target(*). You will smash through any ice or stonewalls in your path and knock over any totem the target may be propping before it can activate. The tremors of your passing shall even disrupt those totems stood by those other than your target. In addition, the target will be knocked prone and take damage. If the target has a shield or prismatic barrier, the damage is reduced. If they do not, they are also stunned for a short time.
| |
Calcify | From dust to dust. |
The dreaded power of calcification is one limited to the servants of Garash. By laying hands upon the head or torso of your enemy, you may begin the transmutation of the calcium in their bones into true stone. This will cause their head or torso to be damaged after a short time. For instance, someone with no internal damage would receive mild trauma upon calcification of the torso completing, and someone with mild trauma when it completed would receive serious internal trauma. However, if the limb is at the maximum damage possible (mangled head or serious internal trauma), alternative effects occur. If calcification completes against someone with a mangled head, their skull shall completely transmute to stone, killing them instantly. Note that if you have shaped your form as much as possible, the balance on this ability is completely removed, though it will reduce your shaping by two levels on use.
Squeeze | Crush the life from them. |
Take hold of your unfortunate foe and squeeze the life from them. This attack will do more damage based on how much internal trauma your target is suffering; if they have both serious internal trauma and a calcified torso, they will be slain instantly.
Titan | Primordial fury. |
The ultimate gift imparted to the servants of Garash: the ability to tap into the earth and transform into a form even greater than your own. In this form you will be utterly impervious to damage, will be able to perform the paste ability while upon the ground, the juggernaut ability will have no preparation period, squeeze damage will be increased, and your stats will be significantly increased. Note, however, the gift is fleeting; it will only last a short time before dissipating and leaving you stunned. Note that to become a titan you must have shaped your form to the maximum extent possible. This ability carries a significant cooldown when performed outside of the Elemental Plane of Earth. |
