A Zarathustran eagle is the current Greater Eidolon of Ashtan, having been birthed through the merger of the soul of Zarathustra and the Guardian of Chaos to mend the damaged Well of Chaos.
Zarathustran eagles have been featured as charges in Ashtani heraldry and other symbolism since long before the Modern Age. Depictions of symbolic eagles bearing broken manacles have been found on hoplite armour dating from the third cycle of the Ashtan-Shallam Wars.
