Amar moss is a unique creation of Sarapis that thrives upon a type of black obsidian mined within Moghedu. Its miraculous purifying properties greatly contributed to Nicator's establishment of the Seleucarian Empire.

Due to disease and tainted river water, the small settlement of Seleucar would have floundered within the jungle were it not for Sarapis' gift of this moss. Sharing its secrets also helped the Seleucarians cement good relations with the Mhuns of Moghedu and led to both parties' alliance in the early formation of the Seleucarian Empire.
