Most gemstone vials can be found in the shop, Gemstone vials of Moghedu, located in the ancestral home of the Mhun. Each a piece of artful craftsmanship in itself, these vials are designed to withstand the ravages of time that reduce lesser vials to dust. These vials also feature greater capacities than normal vials and come in a variety of gem types, as seen below.
One gemstone vial of particular interest is the quartz crystal vial: In addition to being sold at a separate location (and for Mayan crowns instead of credits), it is also unique in its 1% chance at regenerating a sip of elixir or application of salve as it is taken. It was once sold at Merentesh's Shop of Wonders in Delos, but it has since been discontinued.
- The amethyst vial appears to be extremely old and gives off a strange purplish glow.
- The elegant diamond vial looks incredibly rare and is shaped in the form of an ancient, white dragon.
- The emerald vial appears very delicate due to its thin walls.
- The garnet vial looks very ornamental and is in the shape of a small bird.
- The glass vial is about the size of one's hand. It appears clear, yet the contents are indistinguishable.
- The jade vial is shaped like a miniature, green tiger with bright, yellow eyes.
- The moonstone vial seems to glow as brightly as the full moon. It is in the form of a large crescent.
- The onyx vial is as black as night, short and squat, and has a mushroom-like cap.
- The peridot vial is a short, square container.
- The quartz vial is round in shape, with a short neck.
- The ruby vial is a deep red colour. In the shape of a large heart, it seemingly pulses with a life of its own.
- The sapphire crystal vial features remarkable asterism, and the points of the star all converge at the top of the vial.
