Robed in boughs of evergreen, Melpomene, Spirit of the Black Forest, is as unique as the creatures who make their homes there. Over the years she has suffered many attacks of holocaust and extermination along with the the trees she protects, yet this forest spirit endures with strength and grace.
She is also known in the Arts as Melpomene the Muse of Tragedy.
