The nightmare spirits are the four angels of dreams, Erinyes the nightmare of guilt, Dibbuk the nightmare of madness, Cur the nightmare of fear, and Alp the nightmare siren of truth. Each of the spirits holds dominion over an aspect of the psyche that many hide from themselves and only surfaces within the dreamrealm.
