In 922 AF, Sparrow's Rest was wiped out of existence by Pazuzu's Vigil cult and the brambles of a corrupted Yggdrasil. After a bloody battle, Yggdrasil relinquished its touch upon the Prime Material, taking with it the foundations that anchored the forest to Creation.
Sparrow's Rest was a small section of the forest just south of the Western Ithmia named for the plump, blue-winged sparrows native to the area. A community of elder druids made their home here, having departed Eleusis just before it was opened to the Sentinels in 271 AF. The druids of Sparrow's Rest maintained a stance of non-interference with rest to nature, and they were hostile to those who would manipulate nature for their own benefit. Generally unfriendly to outsiders, their lands were patrolled by ethereal spirit wolves.
