The secluded valley of Kuthalebak is found in the shadow of the mountain from which it takes its name, nestled on the plane of Bjarndyr. An enclave of Vertani make their home in its rolling slopes, making a life for themselves off of the land. Exploration of the peaks surrounding the settlement is fraught with danger, home as they are to predators and prey alike. Recent efforts to expand the catacombs beneath the temple have uncovered a fungus-infested network of tunnels deep under the mountains.

Flora and Fauna
The scrub-filled valley is home to aggressive chion oozes and placid wild mountain hares. Orange lichens and sparse conifers cling to the steep granite cliffs above the white-walled settlement where the Vertani domesticate aurochs and grow wheat. Long-eared lynxes can be glimpsed stalking the mountain pathways whilst leathery qloaqs glower from rocky perches. Mount Kuthalebak is rumoured to be home to a legendary snow holq, a bestial, fur-covered humanoid intolerant of guests.
