A meteor shower crushed the town,
where Lord Nicator was born.
The buildings and people all fell down,
with only a handful left to mourn.

"Cry for me, cry for me."
you hear whispering on the wind.
The ghosts of Thera still roam free
until they can rest their minds.

The ruins were soon overgrown,
with no one left to rebuild.
The woodcutter left his life-long home;
his life there had been killed.

"Set me free, set me free."
you hear whispering on the wind.
The ghosts of Thera still roam free
until they can rest their minds.

New Thera was built on ancient graves,
many years after the ruin.
The villagers are very brave:
to live with the ghosts in their tomb.

"Cry for me, cry for me."
you hear whispering on the wind.
The ghosts of Thera still roam free
until they can rest their minds.

At Mayaween their voice grows strong,
their blood trickles down the walls.
They still hope someone can right their wrong,
and lead the way to Maya's halls.

"Die for me, die for me."
you hear whispering on the wind.
The ghosts of Thera still roam free
until they can rest their minds.
