A wall, a block, with no way through
Hindered wing and foot.
But logic posed that one day soon
This time would be kaput.
Swirling masses, calling to magi
They banded family and friend.
Traveling forest and mountain and frost,
They journeyed toward northern end.
Mhaldorian Mhun uncovers a cave
Inhabited by troll-like beings.
This was the first sign that all soon knew
The north held many new things.
Another change, the ocean calms down
And ships come sailing in.
A dragon black as night wanders 'round
To find a desert swelterin'.
The Vents of Hthrak, they came to be known
Covered in sand and steam.
The Flame of the World's power discovered
Beneath a steaming seam.
The skies shine again, light'ning the north
Beckoning friend and foe.
The south of the Gates, a jungle is seen
In the Albow's cool shadow.
Dirangi and frogs, spiders and such
Creatures of odd and ends.
Sentient remains, without a trace
Of those which may have been.
New lands unfold, explorers rejoice
But it only has begun.
Mysteries remain and rumours abound
On the lips of trolls and wind.
What other wonders lay to be had?
Are these 'treefolk' to be found?
Could they be the lost Tsol'dasi clan?
These questions do abound.
