The skill of Kaido allows members of the Monk class to heal themselves through bodily control, as well as launch attacks against others through the use of Kai energy.
Abilities in Kaido
Ability | Description |
Weathering | Increase your ability to weather damage. |
Your budding control over your body will assist you in weathering the storm of life by increasing your constitution by one point. | |
Vitality | Call upon a rush of adrenaline to heal you. |
You may only activate this ability when very near full health and mana. Once active, when you drop to less than twenty-five percent of your maximum health without dying, you will get a sudden rush of adrenaline that will heal you significantly. | |
Sturdiness | Standing firm against attempts to move you. |
By concentrating on increasing your mass, you are able to gain immunity from most attempts to move you against your will. It is lost when you next use balance or equilibrium. | |
Toughness | Increased resistance to physical attacks. |
By increasing the density of your skin, you are able to decrease the amount of damage you will take from physical cutting attacks. | |
Deaf | Blocking out sound by force of will. |
This simply allows you to enter a short trance and deafen yourself. | |
Hearing | Restoring your hearing. |
Instantly restores your hearing. | |
Clotting | Reduce the level of your bleeding. |
This will permit you to partially clot your bleeding. | |
Regeneration | Regain health through strength of mind. |
At an ongoing mental drain, you are able to channel your mental energy into healing yourself. | |
Sight | Restoring your sight. |
You have sufficient control over your body to instantly repair your eyes when blinded. | |
Blind | Blinding yourself to prevent optical damage. |
A few seconds after using this ability, you will blind yourself. | |
Resistance | Reduce the damage taken from magical attacks. |
Due to your increased bodily control, you are able to reduce the damage from magical attacks. | |
Nightsight | Gain the ability of infravision. |
You will gain the ability to see in normal darkness. | |
Fitness | Controlling your breathing. |
With your mastery of your own body, you are able to purge yourself of the asthma affliction. | |
Restoration | Healing damaged limbs by force of will. |
By channeling mental power into healing, you can heal any broken limbs you may have at one time. | |
Projectiles | Avoiding many projectiles. |
At the cost of some mana, you are able to heighten your reflexes and dodge many projectiles. | |
Dodging | Avoiding attacks from the sky. |
This ability will allow you to dodge attacks from the air. | |
Constitution | Maintaining your intestinal equilibrium. |
This ability will gain you a stomach of steel. | |
Splitting | Constant meditation by splitting your consciousness. |
By splitting your consciousness into dual parts, you will lose part of your maximum mana level, but will effectively meditate constantly in your second mind, gaining you mana constantly and speeding up meditation. | |
Breathing | Holding your breath. |
This ability will grant a short-term immunity from anything doing asphyxiation damage. However, any offensive activity or consumption of balance or equilibrium will cause you to begin breathing once again. | |
Consciousness | The ability to stay conscious at all times. |
Your power of concentration is such that you will be able to maintain a grasp on consciousness where you might normally lose it. | |
Immunity | Immunity from most poisons. |
Allows you to use your increased mastery over your body to burn off the next poison that you are hit by. | |
Boosting | Increasing your rate of regeneration. |
This ability, when used in conjunction with Regeneration, alters the rate of regeneration to a more favourable mana-to-health ratio. | |
Transmute | Instantly convert mana into health. |
This will instantly turn the specified amount of mana into health, minus a bit that is lost in the transfer. | |
Numbness | Delaying the effects of damage. |
With a very clever method of concentration, you are now able to numb yourself to damage received, at least temporarily. When the numbness wears off, all the damage you would have taken, minus 40%, will be received in one blow. | |
Kaitrance | Entering the mystical Kai Trance. |
This is the basis for the most powerful Kaido abilities. It is the ability which allows you to gather Kai energy to use in later abilities. Everytime a person on your enemies list does something offensive in your location, you will gain Kai energy from it. How much you gain depends on how much energy the ability generates. While in the Kai Trance, you may not alter your enemies list. While you are in a Kai Trance, you will lose Kai energy relatively quickly, as well as losing some mental energy. When you BREAK TRANCE, you will lose all your accumulated Kai Energy. | |
Kaichoke | Crush a victim's windpipe remotely. |
By manipulating the Kai energy that flows around us all, you are able to choke the life out of anyone in your line of sight. | |
Kaicripple | Cripple your target completely. |
By sending out a crushing whip of Kai, you can crush the limbs of your target. | |
Kaiheal | Healing yourself with Kai energy. |
Although this may only be performed at yourself, it is a very powerful healing ability. | |
Kaibanish | Temporarily banish your victim from time itself. |
An extremely powerful ability, this allows you to rip space apart at the exact location of a mount in the room, drawing them into a void for a short while. KAI BANISH <target> will banish the creature upon which your target is currently mounted. | |
Kaiboost | Increase your receptiveness to Kai energy. |
As you become more efficient in the art of handling Kai, you gain the ability to double the amount of Kai energy you get. | |
Enfeeble | Unleash a massive blast of kai energy at your opponent. |
This ability will throw a massive shockwave of kai energy at your opponent, cutting his current health and mana in half. | |
Deliverance | Grant your enemies release from this mortal coil. |
Once activating this ability, there will be a short delay. After this time, anyone who attempts to harm you for the next thirty seconds from close by will die instantly in a massive backlash of Kai energy. |
