Transfix is an ability in Elementalism which causes the victim to be held spellbound by patterns of Air and Fire. Masters of Runelore can also imbue totems with the power to transfix. Abilities from other skills can cause transfixion as well, such as usage of a Woodlore butterfly. The victim is unable to do much until they writhe their mind free. However, if the victim is blind, they will not lapse into this paralysed state of mind.
