King Tephicles I was the ruler of Ashtan during the Wars of Succession. He had at least five sons, but only Remeer is known by name. After he witnessed Catarin deSangre's defeat of Lord Odysseus Rani in the Tournament of Blades, he pledged to her the old oath of fealty: "Vitem et sanguinem!" - Our blood and our lives.
