CASPEIDS
The Caspeids originate from the primordial ocean.
Caspeids' Cradle
(Etheree)
sea
surging
briny wild
primordial
blood of Caspian
flowing rushing living
waters rich with energy
set afire by Caspian's light
raising spirits on the crests of waves
divine dreams born to Caspeids' cradle
Borak came to watch over the northern waters.
Borak
(Free Verse)
Vast emptiness in black and white;
a lonely moon pales at the sight
of wayward waters frozen deep within the boreal heart.
Silence prevails in northern spheres
cracked only by the creaking ice
as Borak waits in cool disdain:
a king without a crown.
Untouched and still untouchable,
he watches from his palace jail,
watches and waits,
and watches still,
hoping for the tide to change.
Eusia found her place in the east.
Eusia's Embrace
(Kyrielle Sonnet)
Inviting waters, clear as glass,
whose comforts land cannot surpass,
in harmony with ocean's score
touch tenderly upon the shore.
The coast, in Eusia's embrace,
smiles softly on her radiant face.
Her liquid fingers, evermore,
touch tenderly upon the shore.
The eastern sea is warm and mild;
her waves beguile the inner child
as wistful lullabies of yore
touch tenderly upon the shore.
Inviting waters, clear as glass,
touch tenderly upon the shore.
The stormy sea of the south suited Notia's spirit.
Notia
(Blank Verse)
As lightning crackles over restless waves,
she stirs her sea of storms with swerving steps,
a crimson beauty colouring her cheeks
like threatening rain will paint a purple cloud.
The tropic southern waters swell and swirl,
as unpredictable as Notia's pranks:
a playful wind can turn a sudden gale
like merry laughter coming back to haunt.
Beware the living ocean of the south,
before her watery whims can wash you out.
Sefyr lost himself in the wilderness to the west.
Sefyr's Soul
(Free Verse)
Perpetual woods of swaying kelp
meet colourful coral in mountain arrays:
an underwater paradise,
unblemished and untouched.
Life blossoms bright beneath these widespread waves,
from timid shells to schools of fish,
with stripes or spots,
or cloaked in teeth.
The wild is free but never soft.
The western ocean is Sefyr's realm,
he knows the secrets of its song,
his heartbeat echoes to its drum,
He thrives beneath the waves.
So dive below,
swim high, swim low,
swim strong until you swim no more
to taste the nectar of his world
and understand his soul.
