Come my brethren and drink with me
Recall the tale of our history
Grab a pint and soak your beard
Shout it out so all can hear
Forged from mountain metal
And Brillach, the bearded star
Lord Phaestus did create us
And make us who we are
Farming land and carving wood,
Tanning leather and fishing good
Working stone and forging steel
The love for brew He did instill
Hail the Dwarf Father!
To us our life He gave
Hail the Dwarf Father!
It's for Him we'll never shave
Once we built, crafted to order
Raising cities with no mortar
We forged for use but not for look
Our river of art instead a brook
Our Father quickly realized
What was missing in our minds
He sought the knowledge of Proteus
To bring sentience to our kind
Hail the Soulforger!
To us He gave free will
Hail the Soulforger!
For Him our mugs we fill
A call for battle to us was asked
To slay His enemies we were tasked
We blindly took our weapons in hand
Our consciousness yet to understand
Remember The Great Price
And the sacrifice that was made
Raise your ale in recollection
May their memory never fade
Hail the fallen!
May their forges never cool
Hail the fallen!
For them we drink our brew
Sew together your fashions new
Paint the canvas with beautiful view
Hammers on the forge forever ring
Sing the sweet song of Industry
Heed Dwarf Father's prophecy
Dwarves in heart we will remain
Use what has been given us
Our old glory we shall regain
So come my brethren, drink with me
Remember the tale of our history
To all our kin, near and far
Never forget who we are
