all lingering doubt stripped by her city's betrayal
she left her home behind
along with accusatory whispers and the false portrayal
of her intentions and herself, in kind
with a heavy heart, she climbed into the sky
to the temple where her dreams once soared
her hot tears falling like a summer rain
in silent farewell to the Skylord
her tears shed and her heart free
she continued on through the night
to where the Dawnspear awaited in all its glory
welcoming all who would serve Fire and Light
kneeling upon the shores of Solace Bay
her heart brimming with a newfound desire
she held aloft her sword at the dawn of the day
the light setting the steel on fire
her unspoken oath reflected in her eyes
as she stared toward the rising sun
her blade and being unified
pledged to the service of Good, as one
