To summarize, Tecton isn't a God. He isn't a "real" character in Achaea. He's admin. He isn't part of game lore, has no birth or story of creation, and isn't not mentioned anywhere other than HELP TECTON and HELP ADMIN. On the other hand, Tecton has appeared in game on one or two circumstances, such as the bestowing of the staff of Nicator to Jhui in 650 (because Sarapis disappeared to repair the Fire Behind the Flame in 615). I guess what I 'm trying to say is that having a page for him is a major grey area. A sticky situation in the Achaea-wiki, which deals only in IG lore and mechanics. --[[User:Halos|Halos]] | To summarize, Tecton isn't a God. He isn't a "real" character in Achaea. He's admin. Tecton was recognized IC-ly as a member of the Pentad, when it still existed. And his help file states "He has been credited with many terraforming projects within the world, and He does not lay claim to any particular realm".. which is an obviously in-character perspective to his persona. Though his role as Lead Administrator is an OOC element to the character, it doesn't negate his admittedly-very-aloof-and-mysterious IC identity. Sarapis and Maya themselves could probably have been considered the Lead Administrators while they were producers. --[[User:Krypton|Krypton]] 08:28, 11 February 2015 (UTC) |

I want to delete this, or at least put it in a different section with different template. It's a weird page as-is because it deals with a blurring of reality and the game world, and I'm a little surprised there isn't already a talk page for it.
From HELP ADMIN
Administrators (also called Admins) are immortals who oversee policy and customer service in Achaea. They are not Gods, but have many of the same powers as Gods, endowed upon them by Divine will so that they may carry out their duties with ease. Tecton is the Producer of Achaea and Lead Administrator, and has at his disposal a number of administrators to whom he has delegated responsibility. Four Administrators exist solely to handle issues: - Senior Administrator Lathis - Administrator Meletus - Administrator Anytus - Administrator Lycon Admins and Roles ---------------- Unlike Gods, they have no real 'in character' role. The Gods of Achaea should be considered as always being 'in character.'
I guess what I 'm trying to say is that having a page for him (at least in this section) is a major grey area. A sticky situation in the Achaea-wiki, which deals only in IG lore and mechanics. --Halos 2015/02/10 23:41:33 GMT.
