Consisting of seven bits of long rope weighted with scraps of iron, spider-shot is a unit of ship ammunition meant to be fired from an onager.
Upon hitting the enemy's deck, spider-shot will entangle a weapon, rendering it inoperable until cleared.
When fired at sea monsters, spider-shot will decrease the damage of a creature's next attack.
