Tir Murann is a village of Vertani nestled in the southern Dakhota Hills. The village was founded following the defeat of the Vertani forces by the Achaeans.

Geography

The village is located in the Dakhota hills, near the Southern Old Road, and the Mhojave Desert. It is built around a large Vertani fortress, and has a small quarry, and a spacious pair of animal paddocks. The architecture is notably Vertani.

Inhabitants

The notable Vertani include:

  1. Daqsool, leader of the Vertani
  2. Ohmut, miner
  3. Rakrr, swordmaster
  4. Rohase, captain of the guard
  5. Rakwor, the barkeep
  6. Vewig, the Magelord of House Tsez
  7. Byor, the Vertani boy

Culture

Unlike the Vertani who went to war with the cities of Ashtan and Mhaldor, the inhabitants of Tir Murann are peaceful. They did not support the leadership of the Vertani empire who declared war, and have come to Sapience to seek a new life. They still maintain, however, many of the military traditions of Vertani culture.

Notable Locations

  1. Ascendant's Choice bar and restraunt
  2. The last Vertan fortress
  3. The animal paddocks

Flora and Fauna

There are multiple species of native Vertan creatures that have been brought to Tir Murann, including the powerful, zebra-striped moirahs, the scaled, lizard-like xabats, and the massive gours. The flora appears to be native to Sapience, rather than imported from Vertan.
