Batlin Karrella, Lord of Sangre Keep, was an arrogrant and cruel man generally despised by the Petran villagers.
The Baron has since disappeared mysteriously, his recent whereabouts unknown, following the discovery of overwhelming evidence of his guilt in the murder of Marita Corten and Vodun-like control over her son Aaron, whom the Baron had first accused for the crime.
