A seared glyph (short name: searedglyph) is a fire elemental-themed artefact paragon which may be attached to a Shield of Absorption or a suit of armour containing an absorption paragon. Every fifth time the armour or shield absorbs a hit from a denizen, it lashes out with flame, dealing damage to the attacker.
