Jaydus

Jaydus lives in Targossas. He is the bastard son of Irilan, a former server at Sahart's, and an anonymous Mhaldorian, a fact he prefers not to talk about. Raised by his adoptive mother, Nirah, he grew up a happy child in the streets of Shallam before joining the guard to practice defensive manoeuvres with his braided whip under the tutelage of Corporal Cazin.

When the Jewel of the East was destroyed in the 7th century. Jaydus accompanied the refugees into the wilderness, eventually joining the army of the fledgling city-state of Targossas.

Following the fall of the Dawnspear, Jaydus moved to the Guardian's Hearth along with the rest of the denizens. He tends to wander between Zanzibaar street and Fish street, and frequently visits the Memorial within the Museum to pay his respects to his foster mother, Nirah.
