The duchy of Aster Malik was a tiny province of the Seleucarian Empire, located to the north of Seleucar on the Asterian Peninsula. It is best known as the homeland of the infamous Duchess Castomira Brangwin, unwitting thrall of her Tsol'teth blood in the Wars of Succession. After the fall of Castomira the duchy fell to the Kephry family, whose notable members include Damen and Davis Kephry. The island of Kanjera was located off the coast of the duchy before its collapse.
Aster Town and Aster Keep persist into modern times, largely closed to the public. They partially opened to adventurers in 772 AF (partially) and 890 AF respectively.
