A fertile area, it is home to golden hares, voles, brown and white llama, silver foxes and greater anteaters, as well as innumerable species of insects. Small, dappled plains hawks and spotted kestrels can be found soaring on the wind, scanning the ground below for prey. The Chaghut encampment of tribesmen is here, and it is rumoured that thieves also live upon the plains.
