Wilbur, a cross-eyed peasant, is not a citizen of Mhaldor, but he spends his days in the common room of the Worm and Grub. Because of his ocular disability, it is difficult for anyone to tell where he is looking.

- Simple and earthenware, this jug has no decoration. Striations and patches of discolouration spread across the dull greyish surface, an indication that it has been used many times before. The spout is rounded and just large enough to fit inside lips.
