The Notic amulet is a specialised artefact which fits into a ship's figurehead. Once attached it can be turned once per month to petition the Caspeid Notia for an oceanic blessing upon the ship's crew. The effects are somewhat random, ranging from an experience bonus to faster rowing to a curse causing slower response time to captain's orders. The Notic amulet is a rare item though it can be attained through ship trades.
