The Sarapin Sacrifice was an annual ritual performed by high ranking members of the city of Mhaldor in the month of Sarapin.

During the ritual, citizens offered their lives up to placate Sartan, or later the Gods Apollyon and Shaitan, and were beheaded in the Chamber of Sacrifice within the Sartanic public temple.

At the end of the ritual, the ritual celebrant could be heard throughout Sapience, proclaiming the words of Evil. During the separation of Sartan into Apollyon and Shaitan, the ritual was also used as an annual announcement of the city patron for that year, rotating between the twin Gods of Evil.
